Rupert Murdoch had been exploring a reunion of Fox and News Corp about 10 years after he split the companies.




Rupert Murdoch has withdrawn the concept to re-combine Fox Corp and News Corp.

Fox stated Tuesday its board obtained a letter from Murdoch, its chairman, and his son Lachlan Murdoch that "decided that a combination isn't greatest for the shareholders" of both of the businesses at the time.
